A Home For The Holidays

After quietly looking for a house for almost 2 years, I reconnected with A + C at the end of November – life happens and they needed some more space!
My experience with them could be a case study of how to buy a house, especially in the winter, and around the holidays.
A true example of what can be accomplished when you’re prepared, motivated, and confident.
A few days before we went out to look at homes, they went to some open houses, and one just stuck – we still toured several homes a few days later but it just put this one further into perspective.
We wrote a tight, prompt offer on a meticulously cared-for home that had been on the market for a little while, went through four rounds of counter-offers, successfully negotiated a 2-1 interest rate buydown, and had the majority of closing costs to be covered by the seller.
This is a phenomenal example of what can be accomplished when everyone involved is professional, dialed in, and communicates well.
We quickly moved through the inspection period, the lender was speedy with the appraisal, the listing agents were amazing to work across from, and our clients were able to make confident, quick decisions.
I can’t think of two more deserving, hard-working people and I’m grateful to have seen them through this time.
