There’s some true beauty in getting to work with friends. A lot of my adult working life has been working with and for my friends and seeing those people working for themselves played a big role in giving me the confidence to go at it on my own, and start this business.
But the cool thing about real estate is that it can be so personal, and intertwined with your life that you often end up still working with your friends, just in a bit of a different capacity.
Talks about a future house for J + J to grow their fam in started sometime last year, and we kept a soft eye on things but nothing popped until a few months ago when we toured a house on a whim that lit a spark. It wasn’t meant to be but it opened the door for the right one to come along and it sure did a few weeks later.
This single-owner, meticulously cared-for home in Lakewood came on during a glitchy weekend in the summer market and impossibly, just four days on the market, we were the only offer in hand. A cosmic wink. We promptly went under contract and got a steller inspection report. This house was seriously well taken care of. A rock-solid lending team handled a few hurdles that came up and we were able to close in less than a month and jumpstart this new chapter of their lives.
It’s truly a career highlight for me help friends who have helped me so much in the past and I just can’t wait to see where this journey takes them!
Add this to the infinite list of reasons why Tacoma is home.
