Herron Island Getaway

Back in May I connected with K over shared excitement of a dreamy island home and plans were made for a showing. it ended up not working out but interest was piqued and the search began.

Prior to this I’d never been to Herron Island – a private residential island incorporated into Pierce Co. in the late 50’s and accessed by a small twelve-car ferry – everything about it is charming. A long, winding road to the dock, the short ferry ride, the homes themselves … it’s all a real good vibe

We spent the next few months on the hunt, had a few more trips out to look at homes and finally found the one. On the market for just 8 days, we saw it on a Saturday morning, wrote a tidy, strong offer and were under contract that night.

I’m grateful for this one for a few reasons. To this career for taking me to places I’ve never been, to the cross agent who was a dream to work with, to my client for being so dialed in and ready to make decisions when it counted, and to just be living and working back in the Northwest doing what I set out to do.

This was a special one and I’m so thrilled for K and the dogs and can’t wait to see this little island home work it’s way into their lives.
